  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 slices bread preferably stale
  • 15 g butter for frying

Method
 

  1. Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  2. Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
  3. Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the soaked bread slices until golden brown on both sides.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use brioche or challah bread. Serve with maple syrup, fresh berries, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
